Daily Reading

 Jesus is The Word

It is a basic principle of discipleship that if you want to know the Lord, you must begin to understand how He intended us to live out our precious gift of life! By committing to spend about 15 minutes a day, every day, to reading Holy Scripture, I can guarantee that you will find yourself changed from the inside out!  To live life His way we must first read The Word, then step by step we can begin to apply what we’ve learned day by day!

I can personally tell you that it’s not always easy to read every day, but I find that when I am obedient to seek Him every day, my day is just different than those days when I’ve admittedly not spent my time wisely.
We’ve generated the following Bible Translation spreadsheets using “The One Year Bible” as a template. The spreadsheets contain specific hyperlinks to the Bible Study Tools web site that will show all the versus for the day’s reading.  You can pick from the Old Testament, New Testament, Psalms, and Proverbs, or all of them at once!  I hope you find this to be helpful resource for your walk with the Lord!
If you’d like to see another translation listed below, just send us a note which version you’d like to see using the Contact Us link!

If you’d like to have your own copy of the Excel 2010 spreadsheet that contains all the above versions, download it using this link: Read the Bible in One Year – Excel 2010 Macro Worksheet In this Excel 2010 macro-enabled worksheet you can select the translation you want and change the web source between two locations – be sure to save the worksheet after you select these.  Then when you open this worksheet, it will show the day’s reading links.  I have this worksheet on all my computers so that if I don’t happen to have my bible with me, I can always use the spreadsheet to get into my reading!

Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
